My classes and workshops combine gentle yoga, breathwork, meditation and optional reiki to help you feel great.

Slow Flow Yoga – we use synchronised breath and slow, mindful movement to soothe and energise the nervous system simultaneously - a meditation in motion.

Yin Yoga - we gently stress our connective tissues - ligaments, joints and fascia - with long holds, helping to hydrate and nourish our tissues, as well as release tightness and any stored physical and emotional tension.

Restorative Yoga - we use bolsters, blocks and blankets to support your body and allow it to completely relax and let go, bringing your nervous system down to zero.

Meditation, soma sensing and yoga nidra - we turn our gaze inwards for sensory awareness, self-enquiry and a deeper letting go. By cultivating interoception - our ability to sense and interpret our internal state - we can regulate and integrate our emotions and stress responses more effectively.

Breathwork - we explore our current breath patterns and then use breathing exercises and techniques to either up-regulate and energise or calm and soothe the nervous system.

Gentle Yoga - private yoga class

We build up energy and work our muscles in the first section of class with gentle stretches and slow moving flows. Yin and Restore - private yoga class

A relaxing floor-based class of gentle stretching. Our long supported holds combine:

  • Yin yoga - that lightly stresses our fascia - the connective tissue surrounding our muscles, bones, organs, and nerves. This can become tight or restricted due to stress, poor posture, lack of movement etc.

  • Restorative yoga - which is about complete relaxation - using props to support your body to help to relax and let go.

The class can be finished with with a 20 minute mediation / yoga nidra or some hands-on reiki - a healing energy treatment.

Meet Vicky

I worked for over 20 years in corporate communications before knowing that I wanted to do something different in life.  Sitting indoors behind a desk every day was taking its toll.  I was suffering with my scoliosis, feeling constantly stressed, and was grieving the loss of my Mum.

As part of my own healing journey, I've always been interested in holistic wellbeing, and after becoming a reiki practitioner, I decided to complement this skillset by training to become a therapeutic yoga teacher. My course combined slow flow, yin and restorative yoga with modules on breathwork, energy medicine, women's health and trauma-informed yoga.  I love seeing the impact that my gentle, embodied yoga classes and conscious relaxation workshops have on the wellbeing of my clients.

As well as being interested in all things wellbeing, I love countryside or coastal walks,  pottering around in the garden, live music and singing. I've also been attempting to learn Italian for a few years now.
